I get his point. I'm just countering that the beast isn't doing as much of what you want him to be doing when you b30 (he peeled a gutty earlier vs Wass on a paired board then just call called twice vs like b80, then block). The biggest trait of live fish is that they don't put in enough money with value. When you b30 the Q high flush there and get snapped by the jack high flush it becomes time to throw the sim out the window.

If your read is so accurate that the fold is good, then that should also be baked into the EV of the bet sizing choice. It seems specific but also not unreasonable for Robl to have a read that is something like, "he will raise a reasonable mix of value and bluffs vs a 30% bet, but if I bet 125%, he will call XYZ and never bluff Kh." If that read is correct, how wide does XYZ have to be for 125% to be better than 30%? (What if he bluffs at half the appropriate frequency?) (This obviously doesn't apply to a world where he bet 125% intending to call THEN chose to fold based on information gathered after his bet)
