Sam Rivers, founding bassist of Limp Bizkit, has died at age 48. The band confirmed the news on Oct. 18, calling him “the pulse beneath every song” and “a once-in-a-lifetime kind of human.”
Rivers was part of Limp Bizkit’s original lineup and played on all major releases, including Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water.
He passed away just weeks after wrapping the band’s 2025 tour.
Limp Bizkit’s statement: • In Loving Memory of Our Brother, Sam Rivers
Today we lost our brother.
Our bandmate.
Our heartbeat.
Sam Rivers wasn't just our bass player — he was pure magic.
The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound.
From the first note we ever played together, Sam brought a light and a rhythm that could never be replaced. His talent was effortless, his presence unforgettable, his heart enormous.
We shared so many moments - wild ones, quiet ones, beautiful ones — and every one of them meant more because Sam was there.
He was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of human.
A true legend of legends.
And his spirit will live forever in every groove, every stage, every memory.
We love you, Sam.
We'll carry you with us, always.
Rest easy, brother.
Your music never ends.
- Fred, Wes, John & DJ Lethal

For those of you still fighting me on this one thinking it was real.
Trumps just been shot but here’s the Secret Service guiding photographers around ignoring danger to get the famous photo while the crane operator lowers the flag into position ignoring the danger.

When I’m educating people about psyops being played on them I always say the easiest way to tell if something was faked is if it can’t be recreated again. In other words I, as a former sniper, cannot shoot a persons ear with an AR 15 and leave no scar. It’s impossible. Fact.🫡

Steelers LB Payton Wilson reached a top speed of 22.48 mph on his chase-down tackle of Jordan Addison, the fastest speed by a linebacker in the NGS era (since 2016).
Wilson's tackle ran 61 seconds of clock that helped the Steelers seal a win in Dublin.
