🌿 Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 – Ottapalam, Palakkad
📍 As part of Swachhata Pakhwada, a Ministry initiative, HPCL organized programmes at Lakshmi Narayana Vidyanikethan (clubbed with its Golden Jubilee celebration) and Amrita Vidyalayam School, Ottapalam, Palakkad District.
🙏 The event was graced by Hon’ble MoS (Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism) Shri Suresh Gopi Ji, witnessed by CGM – Cochin Zone, and attended by Region Heads of Kozhikode/Cochin (Retail), Direct Sales and LPG (Cochin) along with other HPCL officials.
🪔 CGM – Cochin Zone presented Gandhiji’s symbolic Charkha to the Hon’ble Minister.
🎨 Students who had created a portrait of the Hon’ble Minister presented it to him on stage, a gesture he warmly appreciated.
🌳 Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative, the Minister planted a sapling in his mother’s name and encouraged students to take up tree plantation for a sustainable environment, distributing saplings to children present.
🤝 He administered the Swachhata Pledge to students, teachers, and HPCL officials, and gave away prizes to winners of the Slogan Contest and Thematic Painting Competition.
🧹 Sanitation workers were felicitated by the Hon’ble Minister in recognition of their dedicated service.
🎶 The event concluded with a mass Signing session led by the Minister, reinforcing the message of cleanliness and collective responsibility.
🎒 Jute bags were distributed to all participating students through the school management, encouraging sustainable practices and supporting their educational pursuits.
