Introducing Hi-5 Fridays by the school councillors, Louis, Emily and Thomas! Every Friday, all of us will be encouraged to give a Hi-5 to someone we feel truly deserves it to help spread love, kindness and positivity throughout our school community! We can’t wait to start!💙

During ICT, Pathfinders enjoyed recreating the Northern Lights using SketchPad software. Today, the children explored the programme and learned how to navigate the different tools to achieve the effects they wanted. Next lesson, we’ll be creating our final pictures! 🌟

We are so excited to share the beautiful Inukshuk creations made by our amazing Pathfinder class! 🗿✨ The children worked collaboratively, using their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork to design and build impressive 3D art forms. 🤝 Well done, everyone! xXx

This afternoon, Pathfinder class enjoyed learning all about Inukshuk art! Inspired…we plan to create our own Inukshuk art! To begin, the children explored the school grounds in search of rocks and stones! What a wonderful afternoon of exploration, teamwork, and fun! 🌈🌟 xXx

Today, our fantastic A.B.A took part in Anti-Bullying training! They learned so much and came away full of enthusiasm and determination! A huge thank you to Ann Foxley-Johnson for delivering such an empowering session — we are so grateful for her time, expertise, and passion.

Another absolutely fantastic PE lesson! 🌟 Pathfinders did a wonderful job practising traditional Inuit dance moves, including the arm roll, bear hug, and the looking man💪🤗! Excellent moves Year 1 and 2! 🎶💃🕺 xXx

As part of their ‘Come Fly With Me: America’ topic, Navigators learnt about the artist Jackson Pollock and then created their own drip and splatter masterpieces. 🎨🌟

This afternoon, Pathfinders enjoyed a fascinating lesson all about the Northern Lights. Inspired by what they learned, the children used chalk to create their own vibrant pictures of the Northern Lights, carefully blending colours and showing great creativity. Amazing work! ⭐️

During PSHE, Pathfinders class were exploring what makes a ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ friend. Working in groups, the children wrote examples of each and then placed them on our friendship posters! 🧡

During PE this week, Pathfinders class worked together as a team to cross the ‘swamp’ without leaving their hoop. To make it even trickier, the children had to collect the ‘gold’ sinking in the swamp. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated!🧡

This afternoon, the children had a wonderful Dance lesson, exploring Inuit dance traditions! They practised some amazing moves, all in time to the beat of a drum. Well done, everyone—your moves were absolutely wonderful, and you really respected and celebrated the culture too! 🌟

This afternoon, Pathfinders were learning all about the amazing Inuit people-their diet, their brilliant igloo-building skills, and how they survive living in Arctic conditions! The children then created a collage to show the traditional clothing worn by the Inuit people! ⭐️
