Hon'ble Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Ajay Tamta, inspected NH-02 which enters Manipur from Nagaland (Mai Gate) and is currently being upgraded to 4-lane along the 46 km Senapati–Imphal stretch, and reviewed the progress of works under Packages 5A and 5B in Kangpokpi (KPI) and Imphal districts, during his visit to the state. Shri Tamta also held discussions with the Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi on land acquisition matters and reviewed law-and-order issues highlighted by contractors in meetings with the SP and DFO.
