HSI arrests criminal alien fugitive Jesus Luis Cuevas-Pacheco, 47, in Vado, N.M. Cuevas, with a history of violent crimes including child sexual assault, narcotics trafficking, & domestic violence, is now in custody. Community safety is our top priority.

@HSIElPaso arrested Hector Rodolfo De La Torre, 64, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, who was convicted of felony injury to a child in 1985. He remains in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings. HSI & #EROElPaso are committed to remove public safety threats from the US.

3 CRIMINALS were among 19 aliens arrested by @HSIElPaso in a Las Cruces, NM, stash house. Their rap sheet lists child endangerment & robbery. They were from Mexico, Guatemala & Ecuador. 5 are criminally charged with illegal re-entry. 14 are in custody to be removed from the US.

On July 3, the Homeland Security Task Force in El Paso, w/assistance from CBP, seized 12 firearms and arrested one Mexican national. This criminal investigation reflects HSTFs effort to combat threats to the homeland to stop the illegal trafficking of firearms to Mexico.

On July 9, HSI El Paso & HSTF Region 7 agents acted on intel about a Mexican nat'l illegally in the U.S. allegedly possessing firearms & planning to kidnap his USC child. Social media posts showed him w/a 9mm handgun & AR-15. He was arrested w/out incident, investigation ongoing.

On July 8, ICE HSI Albuquerque, along with HSI El Paso SRT, @NMStatePolice, BIA, IPD, and the National Guard GRT, arrested an adult male and seized over 16 pounds of cocaine and more than 11 pounds of meth concealed in a sedan. The investigation continues.

@HSIElPaso arrested Joel Morantes of Venezuela. He is wanted by the FBI for bank robbery. #HSINorCal requested assistance from HSI El Paso to arrest him. He was ordered removed June 10. He has warrants for larceny in Colorado & arrests for DUI, theft & obstruction in Washington.
