On January 21, ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) responded to a request from the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office in Zimmerman, MN, to help locate a missing 7-year-old girl after an AMBER Alert. HSI teams braved sub-freezing temperatures, canvassed neighborhoods, and worked closely with local law enforcement, gathering surveillance information to aid the search. On January 22, HSI was notified that the child was found safe and the alleged sexual assaulter and kidnapper, 28-year-old Joseph Andrew Bragg, was taken into custody. HSI is proud to have helped bring this young girl home and ensure alleged child predators are removed from Minnesota’s streets.

Homeland Security Investigators and FBI agents arrested Nekima Levy Armstrong who played a key role in orchestrating the Church Riots in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is being charged with a federal crime under 18 USC 241.
