Lots of fun ideas floating in my mind after such a fun weekend at #HSP2023. What a joy to return to my favorite place, with some favorite people, and do what I love.

Listening to @SuzAdlof present on DLD, oral language, and syntax at #hsp2023 this morning. She is making a case for syntax as part of the “beneficial for all and necessary for some” of explicit, systematic language instruction.

Our final #HSP2023 invited speaker, Dr. Emily Phillips Galloway shares her work on assessment design and curricular approach to support classroom learning.

Here we go! Our last day of #HSP2023. Next up Dr. Suzanne Adlof will give an invited talk on measuring and teaching sentence structure to improve children’s reading and writing.
