👋 Ladies This One’s for You 👋 The Trinity Vixens are on the hunt for new players and we desperately need you (yes, you 🫵). Whether you’re a seasoned cricketer, a total stranger, or someone who just fancies trying something new, you’re very welcome.

Saturday 27th September The club will be showing the Women's Rugby World Cup Final between Canada and England from the Allianz Stadium, London. The final starts at 16:00 and the bar will be open from 15:30, so please come round, have a drink, and enjoy the game.

Tomorrow sees the Super Sixes Showdown at the club starting at 10:30am. Meet at 10:00am, but please be round there earlier if you can. Teams have already been advised who they are and are looking forward to the day. In any case, the bar will be open so it should be a good day.

This evening we have the Junior Awards celebrating a fantastic season of cricket and all the brilliant efforts from our young players. 5:30 PM – U9, U10, U11 Girls and U15 7:00 PM – U11, U12, U13, and U16 We’re thrilled to have a special guest joining us to present the awards.

There were a few career milestones and personal bests achieved at the weekend. Congratulations to all on their achievements.

The 3rd XI had a friendly versus @SlinfoldCC at Oakwood Hill. Slinfold won the toss and we batted. Marcus Ally retired on 100no as we made 223. 12-man Trinity rotated the bowling with 4-8 for Neil Collyer and a terrific run out by Warren Sweatman as Slinfold were all out for 187.

At home, the 2nd XI won the toss against @LittlehamptonCC 3rd XI and bowled. Tim Brewster (3-13) and Ben Watson (3-22) wrapped up the tail quickly as LCP made 161. In the reply, Ben Ford (52no) and Jake Lovett (54) both batted well. The win saw us finish 3rd in the division.

Congratulations to the 1st XI who have gained promotion with a win over @worthingcc 2nd XI. James Arnould had the best figures of 4-21 as Worthing were all out for 201. Jack Gold (79) and Chris Douglas (34) put on 85 for the first wicket before Max Rees (60no) saw us to the win.

There were a few career milestones and personal bests achieved at the weekend. Congratulations to all on their achievements.

The Sun XI played @CrawleyCC Sun XI this week and were asked to bat. Will Lawson opened and produced a fine 59 as a score of 159-6 was posted. In the reply, the Trinity rotated their bowlers and most took a wicket. Best was 2-28 by Rory Lawson as the visitors won by four wickets.

The 3rd XI travelled to play @RottingdeanCC 4th XI. Jacob Sanders top scored with 35no to see a competitive total of 168-3 raised from 30 overs. Sadly, the game was abandoned after 18 overs with rain falling with Rottingdean on 98-2 as Rory Lawson and Erica Bales took the wickets

The 2nd XI took were away to @KilnwoodValeCC. The hosts were dismissed for 117 in the 36th over. Zac Billings had great figures of 5-14. In the reply, we were 35-5 before John Kimberley and Ben Ford put on 85 for the 6th wicket with John making 54no and Ben 21no for the win.

At Victory Road the 1st XI took on @WCTCC 2nd XI. Trinity were asked to bat. With Ben Moir making 44 we scored 212-9 off a full 40 overs. The reply only saw 20 overs bowled with WC making 156-4 to see them make the revised target, but we still picked up 12 points. One game to go!
