Dear Battlefield players and fans, We want to apologize for Battlefield 6 not being a core Battlefield experience as promised and falling short of not just player expectations but ours as well in that regard. Over the next 6 months to a year we plan on doing and adding the following: 4-10 classic proven Battlefield maps slowly being rolled out over the next two years on top of new maps as we address issues with current maps Server Browser like BC2,BF3 and BF4 Customer server ability like BC2,BF3 and BF4 Platoons and community building Squad and spotting system from BF1 Lighting system and techniques from BF1 Proper directional audio and enemy audio Armor play that mirrors BF3/BF4 Air play that mirrors BF3/BF4 Overhauling the destruction system Open world proximity chat - Able to be turned off, muted, or bad actors reported Proper in game stat tracking with all the details you would expect We know that Battlefield 6 can be an exceptional title that competes with the best in the franchise, now it is time to show you. Let us get back to basics and build an exceptional Battlefield together. Look forward to more announcements come the new year and the ability for you to test the features and changes in our Battlefield Labs and go full hands on. **We've had a great awakening in BF4 with EA making a statement and commitment to CTE, lets hope we get another for Battlefield 6 and get something like this and soon.**
