As someone who attended the consultation, the gap between the hope and positivity of people in Moyross and the behaviour of some opposing residents was incredibly telling. Derogatory comments, questioning access to services, shouting at staff. We know exactly what this is.

@buildourroad @Nick468official “Through the middle of their estate” is quite a stretch.

@faz1886 @Nick468official “A unique housing estate” and not a single front door will be passed on any house in Woodview. Its passes the estate, not through it. The Woodview road is already there Moyross is a unique estate given it’s surrounded by kilometres of wall and cut off from neighbouring estates.

Hi @Nick468official - can you confirm how many signed in support of it ? These figures are interesting as the council have told us information hasn’t been collated yet ?

The data that matters is from the public consultation. @LimerickCouncil now need to release the data from the consultation and from the original consultation so that accurate information is detailed to the public

Imagine thinking a train station will work with the current black line. University Avenue gives straight forward access.

1/ in relation to the article in yesterdays @Limerick_Leader. We are disappointed by the inaccuracies. The journalist attended the public consultation and seen the plans yet stated the road goes through an estate. It’s does not and in fact the road is already there. 2/

It’s Moyross that is changing its layout not Woodview. The road is already there on the Doneen road and no residents front door is drove by with the new connection. This is stopping real progress for Limerick and real connectivity for the Northside.
