Shocked to hear that Dolores Keane has died. Her voice was unique & whilst she had universal appeal, she was quintessentially Irish. So many memories…. back stage antics, tears & tall tales. I’ll sing a song on stage here in Hong Kong for you tomorrow - rest in peace Dolly 😢

This is the old Student Centre in UL Mostly paid for by students Maybe just a idea it can be turned into affordable Student accomadiation.

@davidmcw The cost of touring is very expensive i know of some bigger acts that just return home after shows the cost of accomadiation is crazy i do also note more sleeper buses outside venues.

This below so important as it sums up one aspect of the music industry. Artists/musicians are getting nothing....and Garbage have a big fanbase - albeit a kinda 90's vibe!

RIP the legend Ronnie Delaney, our 1500 metres Olympic gold medalist in Melbourne in 1956. Here is some footage I colourised of Ronnie on 6 August 1958, when Australian Herb Elliot broke the world record for the mile, running 3 :54.5 at the Morton Stadium in Santry, Dublin. In one of the greatest mile races ever, the first four athletes all broke the existing world record.

There was no material diffence in RTE Radio 1 mid-morning audiences between Pat Kenny, Sean O'Rourke & Claire Byrne, typical 320-340,000 And it seems David McCullagh won't be seeing a decline. McCullagh is on €209k salary, Claire Byrne €280k, O'Rourke €328k, Pat Kenny €950k
