I am profoundly disappointed that Van Jones is speaking at the March for Israel in DC. In addition to the noble goals of fighting antisemitism and honoring innocent lives lost on 10/7, the march is also organized to affirm U.S. solidarity with an Israeli government that has not only been identified as an apartheid state by numerous human rights groups around the world, but is actively committing multiple war crimes in a genocidal campaign against the people of Gaza. He could be calling for a ceasefire. He could be decrying the use of indiscriminate and disproportionate force. He could be demanding that Democrats, liberal, progressives, and other other members of the so-called Left speak up. Instead, he's speaking at a rally in solidarity with an apartheid state. This is not what I would expect from someone who self-identifies as a fighter for human rights, democracy, or social justice. Shame.

If Joe Biden gave a speech and claimed that the Prime Minister of Hungary was "the leader of Turkey," we all know very well how Republicans would react.
"He has dementia!"
"He is unfit to serve!"
"He is an embarassment to America!"
But when Trump calls Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán the "leader of Turkey," Republicans don't bat an eye.
This is what hypocrisy looks like.
Personally, I don't think it's a big deal that he misidentified a foreign leader's country, but the outrage that the GOP would exhibit had Biden done this would have been ridiculous.

JUST AN AMAZING SENSE OF HUMOR: Former President Obama displayed his incredible character when he made an appearance at the Nike home headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
Understandably, the employees were delighted as he playfully interacted with them, asking,
Obama: "So who will be in charge of my swag” 😂

I would just like to share what I witnessed yesterday morning at Bagels N' Buns.
I was waiting at the counter for an order and a homeless man asked one of the employees to please fill his half gallon, plastic milk carton with water.
The worker said “what are you going to use it for?”
In my head, I was thinking he was going to say that if he wanted it for drinking he has to buy a bottle blah blah blah…
The man said “to drink”, the employee told him to “please go over to the cooler and get whatever size water he’d like.”
He then filled up the milk carton as requested.
The man thanked the employee for the water but said he was really hungry and could use a meal.
The worker Benny said “no problem! What would you like?”
The man gave him his order and he got to it with a smile on his face. I then went over to the register to ask Kathie (who is AMAZING) if I could give her money for him, to use a credit for a few meals.
She replied “Janessa, that is so kind, but we feed him whenever he is hungry.
He always has a meal here, when he needs.”
They’ve been doing it for years!!!
Another reason for me to love them over there.
I was really moved by the whole situation. I felt the need to share this because when businesses give from the heart, when they are hurting the most, they deserve a shout out ❤️🥯 BIG love shout to Mike, Katie, and the whole crew at Bagels n Buns in NYC.”❤️

Everyone do yourselves a favor.
Before enjoying this movie gloss of a brilliant book, read the book itself. Percival Everett's "Erasure."
You'll thank yourselves later. (and we can then see if and where the differences between the book and this movie are).

BREAKING: Trump is hit with devastating news as Michigan voters file a massive lawsuit to ban him from the ballot because he “violated his oath,” “incited a violent insurrection,” and “threatened the assassination of congressional leaders.”
But it gets WORSE for Trump…
The Michigan voters didn’t stop there, declaring that the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution disqualifies Trump because “our predecessors understood that oath-breaking insurrectionists will do it again, and worse, if allowed back into power, so they enacted the Insurrectionist Disqualification Clause to protect the republic from people like Trump.”
VERY well said…
This lawsuit spells disaster for Trump, because as voters in more and more states sue to disqualify him, his chances of becoming president again get farther and farther away.
Trump had his chance, and he showed America just how dangerous he is.
We MUST send this traitor to prison — not back to the Oval Office.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you think that YOUR state should disqualify insurrectionist Trump — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a woke new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

Lindsey Graham on Trump in 2016: “He's a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot ...He doesn't represent my party…He’s unfit for office.”
Lindsey Graham today: “One thing I want people to know, I am standing with President Trump. I am proudly supporting him.”
L.G. is the reason so many Americans hate politicians.

BREAKING: Trumper Senator Tommy Tuberville is hit with devastating news as the Secretaries of the Army, Navy, and Air Force publish a brutal op-ed demanding that he end his “dangerous hold” on the confirmations of hundreds of military leaders.
I’m their blistering op-ed, the secretaries accused Tuberville of “attacking” the “men and women” who serve our country —- and of causing them personal and professional hardships simply because “a single senator wants to “politicize” our armed forces.
They wrote:
“We know officers who have incurred significant unforeseen expenses and are facing genuine financial stress because they have had to relocate their families or unexpectedly maintain two residences.
Military spouses who have worked to build careers of their own are unable to look for jobs because they don't know when or if they will move. Children haven’t known where they will go to school, which is particularly hard given how frequently military children change schools already.
These military leaders are being forced to endure costly separations from their families — a painful experience they have come to know from nearly 20 years of deployments to places such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
All because of the actions of a single senator.
Rather than seeking a resolution to this impasse in that spirit, Tuberville has suggested he is going to further escalate this confrontation by launching baseless political attacks against these men and women."
You know that it’s bad when the secretaries or three major branches of the Armed Forces are publicly calling you out. Senator Tuberville bit off way more than he could chew — and American voters will make him pay for it.
Please retweet and ❤️ to thank the Navy, Army, and Air Force Secretaries for setting Trumper Senator Tuberville straight — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a woke new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

BREAKING: A Black female former employee slaps CPAC(Conservative Political Action Committee) with a whopping $55 million lawsuit accusing it and its Chairman Matt Schlapp of "racial discrimination.”
It all started when the employee, Regina Bratton, complained about racism in the organization to her superiors, and was shamelessly told, “we are not an affirmative action company” — and then “retaliated against” and fired for speaking out.
Adding insult to injury, the Washington Post reports that “Bratton was the only African American employee out of about 30 employees, interns and volunteers across CPAC. She claims that she faced hostility up and down the chain of command” and was even told by other workers that they didn’t like “working with or for women.”
CPAC has always had a history of racism — but now it looks like they may finally pay a big price for it.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you support their lawsuit against CPAC — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a woke new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: tribel.app.link/okwPIHYCIqb

In the 2019 off-season, when Anthony Davis was traded to the Lakers LeBron James tried giving the superstar his number 23.
At the end of their first dinner as teammates, AD received a card that said ‘Welcome to LA - King James #6’. Then, LeBron pulls out a Laker #23 Davis jersey and says ‘This is yours’.
However, Nike denied LeBron changing his number as their jersey manufacturer did not grant permission. The LeBron 23 jerseys were already being produced and Nike would have ‘significant financial losses’ if they let the change happen.
In the end LeBron would stay 23 for the season and Anthony Davis decide on #3 while playing NBA 2K.
The duo would go on to win the championship in their first season together and became synonymous with their respective 23 and 3. LeBron would change his number to 6 in 2021 but Davis would stay number 3 in hopes of being the last Laker to ever wear it.
With LeBron switching back to number 23 in honor of Bill Russell for the 2023-24 season we can once again see 23 and 3 together.
