My friend, I’m gonna be honest… one of the most irritating things is the fact that men do not open themselves emotionally to people who love & care about them. I think to a certain degree it is cowardice. Because if you do not take the risk of being vulnerable & giving someone a chance to care about what you’re going through then you don’t really have the right to complain about crying in private. I’m not saying it’s you doing this. I’m simply saying that a lot of women do care & they do want the opportunity to know & be there for men in ways that matter but men simply do not give the opportunity for such to happen. A lot of men isolate themselves in that manner & it comes across as fear. Everyone has to risk being vulnerable to build strong bonds with those they love. If they refuse then they are simply punishing themselves & those they love by extension. I’m not even saying that a woman will have the solution for a man or understand the circumstances of men in such situations. However women are there to be a support & helpmeet. & It’s up to men to decide who they allow to be that support & who they give the chance or opportunity to at least try to be that support. & If we’re being honest it’s because men are choosing women that are terrible & prioritizing only what women look like & then getting burnt in the face. Women are not being held to a higher standard so they are lowering the bar. & Men are re-enforcing that behaviour.
