Happy birthday to Jared! Another AI video. As a side note: The adult kids in the video are not mine. I cannot add my family, sadly, unless they are on TikTok and have also joined the AI Cast program. But still very fun to make!

How many people use Grok to plant their garden? We had a package of green beans with no information whether it was pole or bush beans. We found out using Grok. Such a nice feature for old brains who forget from season to season.

@EastTNMama We started homeschool when our kids were awake and ready. Our daughter decided on “night school” so we said go for it. She decided after a few weeks that it wasn’t working. My biggest suggestion is go with a flow that works within your schedule and the kids natural patterns

What hours do you most commonly school your children? I just don’t do well in the mornings. Do you have a strict schedule? I’m feeling defeated today. Can you send me your daily schedules, charts, templates, anything you can send me that could help me plan and organize? Please

@LeahDiscovers We sold our big historic home in town and purchased a small very humble country house, way below our means, so we could pay it in cash. We could not survive if we had a mortgage and a car payment like most folks have. We are still just making it.

@wrowclif We feel the same living in the country. We live in two different worlds. I travel into town about 2x a week For groceries. Otherwise we are on our own 15 acres. Quiet, calm, peaceful!

I think the best case for small town living is you really can live in a world that time forgot, essentially. Obviously everything is always shifting and changing, but there's no rat race to keep up with because the rat race is off somewhere else. Incredible freedom, in a way.

@RickyDoggin I worked for a small printing shop. I was the art department/graphic designer. There were times when I was slow and there were a lot stacked up in the back. I loved spending hours at the antique hand printer numbering tickets for a local ski resort. It relaxed my brain.

@OldHollowTree We did it, don’t regret it. My baby is 23 and living a good life. Wherever she goes, people are amazed at her intelligence, skills, interaction with peers and managers. Even changed a few coworkers minds on homeschooling just by how she handles herself.

Remembering my childhood and young adulthood in Wisconsin where every mile there were beautiful farms with red barns and white picket fences.

We forgot to close the coop door last night but thankfully it barely got below freezing and no predators found their way in.

@ACM_Milanista @HomesteadProces Awesome! Whatever works! I have my list of ingredients I always buy on my phone. I check off the things I need during the week. I shop 2x a month. I’d be willing to shop once a month but I don’t have that much money sitting around.

@HomesteadProces @HVFDavidWorrell Concerning the part “ just to save my brain” I found an app called Listie on App Store where you can add your dishes and ingredients once then your weekly meal planning and grocery list is automatically created. it is a game changer in my life and I can’t come back to the paper !

I have a question? Why do people meal plan if you have all the ingredients you need with a well stocked pantry?

@HVFDavidWorrell I would rather take an hour on the weekend to plan for the entire week than to go and stand in the pantry/frig everyday trying to figure it out.

@MeowsTheTime Thanks for the response! Are you worried about not having the ingredients, or time to prepare it? Or you just don’t have to figure out what you want as a meal on any given day?
