@BrentCGuitar @KR3Wmatic Oh? What happens when you die? Even the Law of Conservation of Matter states that matter changes and can't be destroyed. Athiests are weird. Spirit has to go somewhere.

If atheists won't accept the Bible as evidence, what can we use to convince them?

Yes, you CHOOSE your friends because you have free will. You have made connections with these individuals. We were CREATED for relationship. If you don't believe me, the isolation of the pandemic was brutal for some. A special type of madness. Can you explain laughter? Please scientifically explain joy. Can you touch love? Why are there genetic defects and suffering? Why are people such assholes? Think this through.....S L O W L Y To learn what a thing IS: You need to know what it ISN'T. God respects free will, Without free will there is no love. GOD IS LOVE. He's Holy He's Life He heals He is existence itself And respects free will, Because he wants relationship.

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic I love my family and friends but I do it completely without god's assistance. As for "choosing" nothing? lol sorry but I choose those friends and family you mentioned. They mean everything to me. Now explain intelligent design vs. birth defects, etc. like I told you to.

Correct. The brain does. However, explain how can a clinically dead person, eyes closed, sheet over her, describe events, words and details in the hospital room? After being clinically dead. Witnesses, would disagree with you. The hospital staff was baffled. Grandma lived another 10 years.

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic "He exists whether you agree or not" is just a claim. The brain does all kinds of things when it's shutting down.

God protect free will. Without free will, there is NO true love. Don't believe me? Go tell your spouse, family and friends to submit to you and see how that goes. Without love, there is no justice. Because there's no reason to care. Without justice, there is no law. Without law, chaos. Which leads to destruction, The opposite of God. Is Nothing. Athiests CHOOSE the nothing without knowing what that really means.

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic lol are you telling a guy who works with actual "designed" parts in my factory work what design looks like? The biological one has too much unnecessary variation to be intelligently designed. Mass production design aims for uniformity rather than novelty.

Taking the Bible out of context to prove an Islamic point is strange, (considering Islam can't exist without the Bible.) Not only that, I don't think you fully understand the context of what you're quoting. Even Mohammad respected "The People of The Book." 🤔 Now, time travel with me to the Bronze age. 10 -30 million people live on the entire earth. People worshiped idols, moon and sun gods, offered human and sacrifices, did vile fertility acts, and married siblings. Israelite culture, however was SET APART. Deuteronomy 22:28-29 MUST be read in context of ancient culture. Marriage is a bond of two FAMILIES -A woman's final concent is nessary, even today, in a Judeo-Christian marriage. If the woman says "no," marriage doesn't take place. In context, parents couldn't MAKE her marry under Jewish Law, but family MUST be compensated for their daughter's SHAME. (In this case 50 shekels).

Yes, Let go there! 👍 Name any Christian or Jewish society that practices these Bronze age rules today. Now, name any Muslim society that still practices polygamous marriage and has child brides. (There are many) IF you are wise, you'd understand why people are annoyed at Islam!

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic CS Lewis wrote some OK stories, but his religious arguments are as awful as ALL religious "arguments". That mushy quote is a perfect example - it SOUNDS clever but is utterly meaningless. It doesn't even address atheism which makes NO claims about "meaning"!

Well it doesn't matter how you rationalize God. He exists whether you agree or not. My Grandmother's clinical death proved there is an afterlife. Sheet was pulled over. She flat-lined and went to a place filled with emense love and indescribable light. She came back to her body, she described the people in the room. Impossible. Because.....she was dead. Other people have had similar events. You just choose not to believe in God, because it's easier for you to live that way. youtu.be/_aNMX4cooI4?si…

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic They believe* in god. Even if there is a creator, you can't bridge the gap to it being your specific god anyway. It's the christian fallacy of applying your belief: Something created things I think god did it <-- assumption Therefore god exists <-- false conclusion

Respectfully, I'm addressing the orginal post. His claim said: "This isn’t about lust. It’s about responsibility, structure, and limits." In ANY religion, look to the founder and observe their character. Look at the "fruit" of those early encounters. Mohammad was a merchant warlord that was involved in over 60 battles, taking wives, allowing sex with slaves, accruing wealth. If you don't agree with Hadiths and Historical sources, that's on you. 🤷

@HVanHarper @bearsejuk @MasterMaliq @HVanHarper Trying to make a point about slavery (which btw, also exists prominently in the Bible so it's very strange you're even making any points about it!) isn't going to save you if it turns out that Jesus Christ wasn't a god after all. You understand that right?

Do you know this? Islam allows a man to marry more than one wife… but forbids turning them into a group sex experience. No “threesome”, no “twosome”, no fantasies dressed up as marriage. Even with your own wives, that line is not just discouraged, it is crossed into haram. So while people mock polygamy, they ignore the discipline behind it. This isn’t about lust. It’s about responsibility, structure, and limits. Not everything you desire is something you’re allowed to act on. That’s the difference.

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic Except we don't explain why god doesn't exist using science. We don't need to. You disprove his existence for others simply by speaking for him while he stays silent. As for art and music, we do those things because we have abstract reasoning and we like that stuff.

Are you sure? 🤔 "Athiesm has nothing to do with meaning/no meaning." Why do you work? What's the purpose of being a human? Why bother having friends? Does it matter that you make money? What is the purpose of laws? Is there a moral law? If everyone did their own thing, is that sustainable for any society? Is there a moral standard?

@WriterDharma @KR3Wmatic Athiests are a weird lot. They spend a lifetime using science to explain why God doesn't exist, but never use science to explain why humans are so uniquely creative? Explain music. Explain why we do art.

@HVanHarper @KR3Wmatic Poor C.S. Lewis, leading other xtians into making strawman fallacies. No atheist says "the whole universe has no meaning." That's bullshit. I've found my own meaning. But it doesn't hinge on god.

@TAFKAB2 @KR3Wmatic Yes. Use your brain. It all comes down to the fruit of a person's life, the joy they bring to others, and the lack of fear they have about death. Atheism is too simple a philosophy to describe the complexity of a detailed and ordered universe.
