The Beaton statement. The VAR audio. And now this. They are feeling the heat and trying everything to silence people talking about the corruption. Particularly now that it's gaining attention outside of Scotland. Smacks of "let us cheat in peace and don't question anything"

The suggestion that SPFL referees will go on strike is the best news for Scottish football in quite some time. Quite a few, such as John Beaton, should have been suspended long ago- but the next best thing is a voluntary strike. They can then be replaced by impartial officials & thereafter make their strike permanent. The integrity of Scottish football would be far better for it.

They move at lightning speed to jail citizens for tweets and online comments, yet they can’t even name or discipline the officers who allegedly let a stabbing victim die in handcuffs on the street. This is the definition of two-tier policing: aggressive against ordinary people speaking online, but protective when it comes to their own failures and protecting the narrative. When Andy Goram had three months left on his Motherwell contract, he already knew he was not getting another one. He was coming towards the end of his career, driving to training with his wife Miriam, and the phone rang at half nine in the morning. It was Ally McCoist. That was suspicious enough on its own. Ally McCoist could do Ferguson’s voice perfectly. So he gave the only answer that made sense. “Coisty, f*** off.” And he put the phone down. Then the phone rang again. This time Goram told Miriam to answer it. “Miriam, this is Alex Ferguson, and you can tell that fat b****** he’s got ten seconds to say aye or naw.” It really was Sir Alex Ferguson. So Andy Goram went to Manchester United. Steve McClaren took him round the dressing room and introduced him to the squad. Goram knew most of them already. Then they got to Roy Keane. No handshake. Just Keane staring at him. Goram looked at him and said: “There’s no point is there?” Keane just said: “No.” And that was it. Keane was a Celtic man. Goram was a Rangers man. They did not exchange a civil word in three months. Training did not exactly help. They were playing eight-a-side one day, and Keane and Luke Chadwick were up front for Goram’s team. Goram pinged a half-volley straight on to Chadwick’s foot. Chadwick snatched at it and put the volley over the bar. Keane turned on Goram straight away. “Hey you, give me the f****** ball.” Goram was not having that. “What, do you get the ball just because you’re Roy Keane? F*** off.” From that moment, the atmosphere was gone. On the way off the pitch, Gary Neville came over to him. “Goalie, we don’t talk to Roy like that down here.” “We just don’t.” Goram wasn’t ready to start building relationships. “F*** off Nev, do you just do everything Roy wants? Now do one.” Neville just walked away without saying another word. #football

This would be great. Replace them with impartial officials from outside Scotland. Without Beaton et al Celtic will be mid-table.

Turns out that if you question the integrity and corruption in the Scottish game this happens. Touchy 🤔

If Derek McInnes had the ability to decide when the match ended, why didn’t he do it when the score was 1-1?

Collums position was untenable way before this and it will only get worse with him in charge. He’s a disgrace.

@DerekMillerTime @TheLoudenTavern Regardless , NO manager can call an end to a game . The players were taken off for their safety BEFORE the end of the match because hordes of Celtic fans were running towards them , Mcinnes wanted his players off because of safety concerns, this should be taken further if poss.

@DerekMillerTime That's Robertson standing on the 18 yard line. Whilst the clock is showing 97.43. he or 4th official directly say McInnes wants game stopped. 4th official then tells O'neill there's still a minute. Then Ref asks if games to continue..Police tell him no. @ScottishFA is fucked

@scotsunsport Don't participate in match fixing then no one will question your integrity. We all see you benefitting one particular club every week, even people outside Scotland have cottoned on.
