Make no mistake , the media meltdown is nothing to do with Motherwell feeling they were on the wrong end of a decision, or McInnes being "disgusted " by Celtic scoring from a penalty....it's purely down to Celtic having a chance of winning the league.

Absolutely horrified at the treatment of John Beaton and his family. It’s a fucking game of football. He saw a penalty and gave one, Celtic should have had one earlier in the game and didn’t get one. None of that justifies this level of vitriol and hate filled behaviour.

@BarryAnderson_ It wasn’t an ‘error’, a referee was called to look at a number of replays of a clear and obvious penalty, he refused to award it as it would negatively impact Celtic.
