@JohnRSamuelsen Anecdotal, but my husband is a Dem poll watcher in Washoe County and he said the age demographic was much younger today than yesterday.

As we get further into early voting, we should expect to see the electorate to get younger. Despite all the issues with the changing voting methods and the pandemic, age is remarkably similar between 2024 and 2020 on a daily basis.

I’m taking on @ericbeetner’s challenge to promote great #CrimeFiction with low (or no) marketing budgets. First up, Lynn Kostoff’s two literary noirs. It’s a sad state of affairs that such a polished talent is currently scrapping and scraping for a publisher.

Character in book I’m reading just called 911. In 1975. Looked it up. Didn’t start in that area until 1984. The author was a year old.

@chelseabwrites It's happened to me, too. In fact, the only time I've had a crowd at a reading was the launch of my debut, when my friends and family showed up because I (1) told them I would cry if they didn't and (2) threw a party afterward with free food and drinks.
