No, because I think he’s scooped up before that. I think if the @Phillies fire Thomson he goes there. If he is available it would be an interesting pick up if Espada is gone. Which most think the @astros will move on.

Yearly property taxes are the biggest scams. Why on earth should someone pay taxes on a hypothetical value (assesed by the same government!) of an item that has not been sold yet? They should tax you upon purchase, like a sales tax. And then only on the profit, if sold.

Texas people...have you had your property tax go down at all in the past 5 years? I am sick of the BS @GregAbbott_TX is spinning on this. Something substantial needs to be done about cities hiking up the rates and wiping out any benefits of the homestead exemption.
