@Byrdman Design by committee is how you kill art. @MarathonTheGame foundations are explicitly PvP 1st extraction FPS. Sure, improvements and (both respectful and constructive) criticism should be welcomed but not at the expense of the game’s core nature. IMHO, a PvE only mode ain’t it.

Hot take: I do think some type of limited PvE mode should be added. Make it solo only with higher restrictions on how you exfil.
This could be something for casual players to grind and enjoy the world of Tau Ceti IV. I like how the game is right now, but Paul is right.

@MarathonDevTeam 2 humble suggestions: 1) assassin’ smoke should hack thermal scopes either via default or implant 2) thermal scope’s efficacy should be proportional to enemy runner’s overheat state (aka more heat = more visible)

So what I think this signals, if they dont pick anything up in the next few months it that Star Trek cannot move past its nostalgia audience. That means once they are gone, so is Star Trek as culturally relevant. Congrats internet fools, you did this!

Recon's kit could use attention. Her drone has some obvious problems, her prime reveals your own position and feels borderline pointless on maps like Outpost with how many pings appear. I think her passives are decent at least. How would you fix her kit or is she good as is?
