I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. I know @realDonaldTrump and family did. 250 years ago we declared independence from a king who ran the colonies as a family business. In just 18 months the Trumps have made King George look like an amateur. A $620 million Pentagon loan, the largest in the program’s history, to a company Don Jr.’s firm bought into three months before. An Air Force drone contract to a startup the princelings took public through a golf course company they own a piece of. The Army’s largest drone motor order ever, to a company where Don Jr. sits on the board and holds millions in stock. A $24 million Pentagon robotics contract to the company that employs Eric as Chief Strategy Advisor. A stake in the largest undeveloped tungsten deposit on earth, in Kazakhstan, backed by $1.6 billion in US government support. Jared’s fund seeded with $2 billion from the Saudi crown prince, now $6.2 billion, 99% of it foreign money from Gulf governments. Over $110 million in fees collected from the Saudis alone. He negotiates American foreign policy with the governments that pay him. $2.3 billion from crypto ventures their father regulates. More than a million people bought in and lost $2.3 billion. The money didn’t grow. It simply moved from the subjects pockets to the crown’s coffers. And the next one is already drafted. A proposed ATF rule that will allow guns to be shipped straight to your front door. The government’s own estimate is 3.3 million home gun deliveries a year. Don Jr. sits on the board of the online gun megastore built to cash in. He holds 300,000 shares. And that’s only the fraction they’ve allowed us to see. Not one subpoena served. Not one search executed. Why hide anything when you own the investigators? Me? They searched a laptop for six years. Federal prosecutors. Grand juries. Subpoena power. Congressional hearings. They found nothing. I made about $200k a year selling paintings when my Dad was President, and they made my paintings part of an impeachment inquiry. For six years they’ve asked Where’s Hunter? What about the laptop? Wrong questions. The right one is 250 years old. Does America belong to a family? They’ve given their answer. Long live the King.

Roofers get into a fight while working on a job, fall off the roof, and continue fighting. "The white folks are gonna call the cops if you guys don't calm the f*ck down..." one man was heard saying in Spanish. Remarkable camera work here.

Here we are. Anyway you wouldn't be African if denying obvious material realities wasn't your thing. Some of us just choose to believe the evidence of our own eyes. There is clearly a very deep psychological gap. Until it is addressed, let's just support Morocco.

@DavidHundeyin Please why is Senegal now winning against Belgium if inferiority complex is what they're suffering from? And that Greek team wasn't shitty back then, they were even ranked higher than Nigeria.

AFRICAN & BLACK HISTORY
AFRICAN & BLACK HISTORY@AfricanArchives·
The 20th century produced a generation of African leaders who challenged colonialism, apartheid, economic dependency, and foreign influence in their countries. Many paid a heavy price for their political beliefs and activism. Among the figures are Patrice Lumumba of the Congo, Thomas Sankara of Burkina Faso, Steve Biko of South Africa, Amílcar Cabral of Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde, Samora Machel of Mozambique, and Muammar Gaddafi of Libya. Although their political ideologies, goals, and methods differed, each became a symbol of resistance and self-determination for many people across Africa and the Global South. Patrice Lumumba became the first Prime Minister of the independent Congo in 1960 and advocated for genuine political and economic sovereignty. Thomas Sankara introduced ambitious reforms aimed at reducing poverty, increasing literacy, and promoting women's rights in Burkina Faso. Steve Biko played a major role in South Africa's Black Consciousness Movement, encouraging Black South Africans to reject the psychological effects of apartheid. Amílcar Cabral helped lead the struggle against Portuguese colonial rule, while Samora Machel became Mozambique's first president after independence. Muammar Gaddafi remains one of the most debated figures in modern African history, praised by some for his pan-African vision and criticized by others for his authoritarian rule.

As we celebrate our country’s 250th birthday, we should remember that America 🇺🇸 needs more babies. U.S. births in April 2025: 289,429 U.S. births in April 2026: 278,434 That reflects a “baby recession of -4% (down by 10,995). That’s 500 empty classrooms—in just one month, compared to April of last year. The numbers have been sliding for years. We need to overcome this—to make sure America still exists 250 years from now.

I'm not running for office. But if I were, these are some of the lessons I'd take away from what happened in NY yesterday. 1. Authenticity is measurable. Voters can smell a focus group from a mile away. 2. Endorsements from the current Democratic leadership now read like warnings. The establishment wing of the party is no longer a sword. It's a question mark. 3. Conviction beats caution. The candidates who said hard things about rent, about who pays for what, about Gaza, they won. The triangulators lost. 4. Cost of living is everything. Everything else is wallpaper. 5. The middle is not a strategy. It's an empty room. Voters reached past the establishment to grab someone who actually believes something. 6. Don't fear the base. Court it. The Democrats who ran from their own voters lost. The ones who ran toward them won. 7. If you want to lead a party you have to be willing to fight inside it. Mamdani didn't ask permission. He took the field. The lesson under the lessons: the country is tired of being managed. People want to be led.

Absolutely. This is a total lie. All DOGE did was require contact with the aid recipients to confirm that funds were being used legitimately. Anything less than this is insane! Multiple people from USAID have been charged by the Justice Department with stealing money. Moreover, they pled GUILTY!! justice.gov/opa/pr/usaid-o…
Mike Solana@micsolana

no, the DOGE guys did not kill millions of children, and if you have participated in popularizing this disgusting, dehumanizing lie you are going to hell fyi
