I watched this story. Imagine an American citizen pulling up to the 🇨🇦 border - US flag in the backseat, derogatory signs already made. “What are you coming into Canada for?” “I’m here SPECIFICALLY to protest against your federal government. I hate the federal Liberals. I want them gone.” We would never let him in, NOR SHOULD WE. We have a democratically-elected government & we should never allow foreigners to protest it. So….that’s what the US guard said to him. Imagine being the guy thinking this is an important news story. Put the phone down, champ.

Imagine you’re the CEO of Air Canada…. ….sleepless and dealing with a brutal tragedy in real time with vast US and Canadian media coverage - and your PM decides to hit you with a cheap shot saying you lack ‘compassion’ because you lack excellent French language skills. But you’re the CEO of a regulated industry so he knows you can’t punch back. Even though his own French is carefully stage-managed. And the Governor General can barely speak it.
