India's Reliance has taken advantage of the recently issued General License U to purchase 5 million barrels of Iranian crude, the first purchases of Iranian oil by an Indian buyer since 2019. The deal is worth around $500 million. Iran would not have sold this oil if it was going to be denied access to the revenue. But that does not mean proceeds will flow back to Iran. My guess based on the historic norm is that the oil was purchased with rupees and payment will be made to UCO Bank. Iran will use the money to purchase humanitarian goods like rice and generic medicines. India will get oil and probably safe transit for other vessels through the Strait. reuters.com/business/energ…

A single destroyer armed with 16 supersonic BrahMos and Barak 8 LRSAMs carries enough lethality to send an entire aircraft carrier to the bottom. Flying at Mach 3 just 5 meters above the sea, BrahMos stays hidden until it crosses the radar horizon at 27 kilometers, leaving the enemy with only 27 seconds to react. Since a typical naval defense system requires 25 seconds for the sensor to shooter loop, the target is left with a microscopic 2 second window to even attempt an intercept. In the final phase, BrahMos performs a high-G 360 degree S maneuver with 0.5 meter cep, making it virtually impossible for tracking systems to maintain a lock. With 32 times the kinetic energy of a Tomahawk, launching a full salvo of 16 BrahMos missiles delivers the impact force of over 500 subsonic Tomahawk missiles hitting at once. This overwhelming saturation of speed and agility shatters the enemy command structure before they can even confirm the threat on their screens. Who can tell me about the Indian Navy? From what I understand, the Indian Navy has entered the Gulf of Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz, deploying additional warships, including Visakhapatnam-class destroyers, to escort its own tankers, especially LPG and fuel tankers, through tense waters amid the Iran conflict. They're not pushing into the strait itself much, but meeting vessels once they clear it, keeping things safe without getting tangled in direct fights. Please share whatever you can add to this information. Stay safe! 🇮🇳

@sharmasimran_ | @shreya_arora22

Spoke with my friend President Emmanuel Macron today. We discussed our shared concerns over the evolving situation in West Asia and the need for a return to dialogue and diplomacy. We will continue to engage closely and coordinate efforts towards the early restoration of peace and stability in the region. @EmmanuelMacron

Zeeshan, who attempted to slit Salim Wastik’s throat has been encountered by the police. The police say they were informed that the 2 accused were in the same area, in an attempt to “finish the job”. They weren’t satisfied. They wanted him dead. Here is the jihadi. Dead

🚨 Someone just built a real-time global intelligence dashboard and open sourced it for free. It's called World Monitor. Think of it as a CNN war room meets Bloomberg Terminal for geopolitics but anyone can use it. No paid OSINT tools. No expensive subscriptions. No classified access needed. Here's what this thing tracks in real-time: → Active conflict zones with escalation scoring → 220+ military bases from 9 countries → Live military aircraft tracking (ADS-B) → Naval vessel monitoring including "dark ships" going off radar → Nuclear facilities worldwide → Undersea cables, oil pipelines, and AI datacenter clusters → Protests, sanctions, internet outages, and satellite fire detection → Prediction markets as early warning signals Here's the wildest part: It has an AI that reads 100+ news sources, classifies threats in real-time, and generates intelligence briefs automatically. Every country gets a live "Instability Index" score from 0-100 based on military activity, protests, news velocity, and structural risk. When 3+ signal types spike in the same area, military flights + protests + satellite fires, it triggers a convergence alert. This is the kind of tool governments pay millions for. It runs in your browser. One command to install. 100% Open Source. MIT License.
