Dr. Hussam, director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, was detained by the Israeli army after reportedly being taken from the hospital during the assault on northern Gaza. He has been held for over 1.5 years without a clear trial and without access to legal representation. He was last seen insisting on staying with his patients. Since then, he has been held under harsh conditions, with serious concerns raised about his health and treatment. Medical colleagues around the world speak up.
