@Microbedoc2 You should write this into an abstract for a micro/abx resistance conference. Over five-hundred responses so a much bigger sample size you’d get in a single hospital survey.

Its B and its really informative that only 29% respondents knew that I on a micro report means susceptible with optimised dosing.
It highlights I think a failure of the micro service to properly communicate these EUCAST changes brought in back

Poll for those who aren't ID or micro in UK. Just click the poll dont type. What do you understand if on a microbiology report the susceptibility reads: I E.g. Amox: I A: Intermediate - drug may fail use with caution. B: Increased dosing. C: Intermediate - avoid drug entirely.

@curryinahurry22 It’s very sad that Gov does everything it can do benefit boomers. Sod children needing school meals or indeed buildings, sod young adults needing housing or a society needing working infrastructure, courts, healthcare or economic growth.

1/ Pleased to have been involved in this study in @BrJHaem that looks at secondary & idiopathic polycythaemia. This is not a fashionable area but a big deal that takes up a lot of time in the clinic. We looked at management and thrombosis rates in two large centres in England.
