البعض يسأل ماذا لو شن الجيش الامريكي غزوا بريا على ايران؟! الجيش الاسرائيلي بعد عامين من حملة جوية وبحرية ما زال يراوح في قرى حدودية لبنانية امام حزب الله، وهو تنظيم اعداده محدودة ومحكوم ببقعة جغرافية صغيرة وامكانات مقيدة بمحيطه المعادي في معظمه، فما بالك في ايران مع ملايين من المقاتلين من طينة حزب الله العقدية بامكانات دولة عسكرية وجغرافيا قارة ؟! عدة دراسات امريكية اجرت محاكاة لهذا الغزو وكانت دايما التكلفة اعلى بكثير من المكاسب، وعلى المدى الطويل بقاء عسير.. باعتقادي ان العامل الاهم في تماسك هكذا كيانات في هكذا حرب غير متكافئة هو مدى تماسك الحاضنة البشرية الساندة، فلولا كتلة شيعية متضامنة مع حزب الله ومضحية تتحمل الخسائر الهائلة وفارق ميزان القوى، لا يمكن لحزب الله الصمود في وجه هكذا عدو متفوق عسكريا كذلك ايران، والمفاجأة كانت في عدم خروج اي محافظة عن سيطرة النظام وتراجع المعارضة الداخلية رغم هذه الحملة العسكرية الشرسة، ومقارنة بالعراق مثلا الذي سقطت فيه كل المحافظات الشيعية والكردية بعد حملة ١٩٩١ ، لهذا اقول ان التماسك الداخلي يلعب الدور الاهم في هكذا صراعات، وقد حسم الامر عندما فشل ترامب في دفع المعارضة الكردية للتمرد عسكريا، ولعل الامر مرتبط ايضا بدرجة الانقسام ضمن الاكراد في ايران، فوجود نسبة كبيرة من الاكراد الشيعة الفيليين الاكثر موالاة للنظام والمجاورين للاكراد السنة جعل خيار التمرد قد يعني حربا داخلية في المحافظات الكردية نفسها قبل الحرب مع قوات النظام .. ما النظام وقبضته سوى تماسك حاضنته!

Iran went ahead and closed the Strait of Hormuz. Trump called on NATO and other middle east oil customers to assist with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. They ignored him. Now Trump is thinking of ending the escalation with the Strait of Hormuz still closed. Leaving two options on the table. * Come and buy your oil from the US. OR * Go to the middle east and open the Strait of Hormuz by yourself. A win-win situation for Donald Trump and the US.
