We're NOT gonna win the UCL this season. For the R16 game against Newcastle, Barca will have the second leg home advantage because they finished above Newcastle in the group phase. Now if Barca advances, they'd play Tottenham or Atletico. Tottenham finished above Barca in the group phase so Tottenham will have the second leg home advantage. Now you might ask; "What if Atletico Madrid qualify? Barca finished above them in the group phase" Yes, but the rule states that if you knock out a team, you take their advantage, meaning if you beat a team above you, you automatically take their spot. So Atletico beating Tottenham means Atletico will have home advantage over any team that finished below Tottenham in the group phase. Now if Barca somehow escapes that and still advance to the semi final where they'll like face Arsenal or whichever team that defeats Arsenal, Barca's opponent would still have the second leg home advantage. So Barca only gets the second leg home advantage in R16 regardless of how other fixtures turn out. Do you think Barca has what it takes to scale through all those obstacles and get to the final?
