STORM TIMELINE: 3 times to keep an eye on tomorrow ROUND 1: Early morning convection across central Illinois and Indiana. Most likely non-severe, but marginally severe storms can’t be ruled out. The rate that clouds clear after morning storms will impact severe timelines later in the day. ROUND 2: Early afternoon convection. Very very unlikely. The atmosphere will remain capped as ingredients fall into place for late afternoon and evening storms. ROUND 3: After 2 pm the cold front will move south across Chicagoland and southern Michigan. This is when storms will fire. Isolated at first then growing more widespread into the evening. All hazards likely, but the severe timeline is greatly dependent on the speed of the cold front. Check it out. Stay weather aware. HailTrace mets will be staffed through the overnight, mapping storms as they form.

Columbus gang — park your vehicles under something. Much of the metro is about to get hail between quarter and ping pong ball size. Storm one targets northern half of the metro. Storm two targets the southern half. Not going to hurt windshields, but maybe small dents. @MyRadarWX
