Well I’ve taken the plunge & begun writing my first novel! I had intended to begin after I moved into my own place but there’s been delays & my creativity is currently flowing full steam. I had poetry published at 18. I’m 60 now. Better late than never I suppose. Wish me luck.

@realjulietdelta That’s the true final boss stage of publishing 😂The book is “done” but the formatting notes are still out here multiplying like they’ve got their own storyline. You’re in the cleanup arc now painful, but it means you’re really close to something solid 👍👍

Although my life's work IS finished, I've found myself writing another 10 sides of formatting and correction notes this week to edit through lol ffs Give me my life back!!!!

@KittenMancil That’s honestly the most accurate writer’s alliance there is Just you, Google Docs, and the occasional existential crisis but still moving the story forward one word at a time.

@SedonaCAuthor Honestly… same , A proper break can do wonders, especially when your brain’s been running on manuscript mode for too long. Even a short reset can bring back a lot of clarity and energy.
