Easier modifiers and cheats in Shovel Knight disabled achievements.
It also gave you the ability to destroy checkpoints in levels if you wanted a harder experience.
The default experience in SK was still challenging in its level design, don't see how Mina will be any different.

This controversy hinges on whether or not the developers actually balanced their game or not if there are so many modifiers that change the game.
Pretty sure there are mods present that do more than simply tweak a number value.
This also isn't anything new for Yacht Club.

@badboikummy @BasedPota18 It's not like this show doesn't have a chronic addiction to reverting, and re-treading character arcs and decisions.
It wouldn't be out of place for something like that to occur, with Kripke's track record.

@badboikummy @BasedPota18 I'd argue she's in more danger now without powers. Homelander is rounding up non-supes, he has V1 and the world is "allegedly" in more danger than ever.
The reality is The Boys would at least try and exercise every avenue to stop him, even if she rejected their proposal.

After all, wasn't his arc in Season 3 that he didn't need to be a supe to be important to the group?

You know, if you really think about it, show Butcher and Erick Kripke have a very interesting shared parallel.
Both of them rally a group of people for their ideas, only to let them down and betray their trust. Then they do it all over again for several seasons.
