@BernieSanders So, do they get taxed on that same wealth every year? Like, if they didn't make more, eventually they would be taxed into poverty over decades of 5% hits every year? Or do you only tax the rich once then they are off the hook afterwards?

Ok, Jamie: Let me clear things up for you. If my 5% wealth tax on billionaires was enacted you’d owe $135 million more in taxes & a family of 4 making $150,000 or less would receive a $12,000 payment. Oh, and you’d still be worth more than $2.5 billion. Seems pretty fair to me.

We have horrors that look just like rocks and if you step on them your whole world becomes agonizing pain. (toadfish) We have animals who hide inside other animals, and when you eat that animal, they enter your intestines and live there. (tapeworms) We have plants which live on other plants and never touch the ground. There's a fruit tree that grows around another tree, and eventually kills and replaces it. (strangler fig) We have gliding lizards, marsupials, snakes, frogs, and rodents. What the heck do you need fairies for?

@AngelMD1103 On facebook marketplace, free is often anything but. Plenty of stuff listed as free or $1, but then they say "oh no, it's like $80". They just put it so low to get views. Odds are if you go on your local one right now, you will find lots of things listed this way.

This is EXACTLY why people are DONE with Facebook Marketplace… 📦 She literally listed two egg chairs for FREE. Not discounted. Not negotiable. FREE. Clear picture. Clear description. One chair had a cushion, one didn’t. That’s it. And somehow… it STILL turned into chaos. Message after message, people asking questions already answered, trying to negotiate a price on something that costs $0, acting confused over the most basic details. It went from “I’m giving this away” to pure frustration real fast. That’s when she snapped, FULL rant mode. And honestly? A lot of people are saying she just said what everyone’s been thinking. Because, how does “free” still turn into this much drama?? At some point it’s not even about the item anymore… it’s about dealing with people. Be real, has Facebook Marketplace become more stress than it’s worth? And what’s the most ridiculous message you’ve ever gotten trying to sell (or give away) something?

@SandyofCthulhu don't the pick the home, because that's something you have to have to live in the area, and proof of where you actually live? So you don't get taxed by cities you aren't living in, you are taxed by the one providing the vast bulk of your services.

@Culture3ase those fans apparently ignored the scene where Yuji talked with Hakari, and the FPS basically plummeted. Was like they forgot to make the scene then scrambled to get SOMETHING out in time. But costs is mostly due to being made in US/canada, vs Japan.

So the RX 7700 XT GPU (most similar to PS5 Pro according to everybody) is $400. A 2TB MVMe SSD is minimum $300. We're at least $700 deep with two components ALONE. No CPU, no motherboard, no RAM, no PSU, no M&K, no case. lol Y'all stay safe out there.

people say "women are not paid less, they just pick empathy careers." ok.!!! but who decided nursing and teaching are worth less? like we will pay a sales guy 150k to move numbers around, but pay a nurse pennies to literally keep people alive, or give a teacher crumbs and wonder why future generations are failing every test. it is not that empathy based work is less valuable it is that we’ve normalized underpaying it because it’s "women’s work."

Why hasn't this caught on in the US? They've been eating self-heating food in Japan (Bento) for several years now. They are popular in train stations and convenience stores and run between $3-$13 USD. You pull a string on the side of the box. This mixes water with a chemical (usually calcium oxide/quicklime) in a bottom compartment, triggering an exothermic reaction that produces steam and heats the meal in 5–10 minutes. @Teslimatttt Group 3. Having the medical knowledge of Tsunade and Byakugan of Hinata seems helpful for navigating a forest type environment. The only drawback is figuring how to get off the island. I suppose having Itachi or Shinto would be better can they can use crows or bugs.

We complain about corporate greed, but we completely refuse to give up our instant gratification. ​McDonald's just reported a massive $26.9 BILLION in revenue for last year. Their profits are actually going UP. They aren't struggling, they are printing money because we keep proving we are completely addicted to their junk, no matter what they charge. ​We all want prices to drop, but as a society, we have completely lost the discipline to draw a line in the sand and walk away. ​Why would these corporations ever lower their prices when we keep willingly handing them our money?
