Today, @NTIAgov approved Iowa’s #InternetforAll initial proposal. This allows the state to tap into $415 million to close the digital divide and meet the Biden-Harris admin’s goal of connecting everyone in America with affordable, reliable, high-speed internet.

Today @NTIAgov announced four more approved BEAD Initial Proposals. These great plans by GA, IA, MN, and SC build on the 100s of thousands of homes already connected by the Administration’s broadband programs.

“We are seeing demand for infrastructure projects and the development of wind, solar, broadband, storage, and transmission in Iowa thanks to billions of dollars of private-sector investments across Iowa fueled in part by historic federal legislation," she said.

President Biden's investments are transforming our country for the better – reaching communities in every corner of the United States.

2023 has been a year of investing in all of America and all Americans. We announced 33,000 infrastructure projects and invested in roads, bridges, rail, ports, internet, and clean water – creating hundreds of thousands of jobs in communities left out for too long.
