We are back and we are angry, despite Sheffield being declared a Tier 2 HIGH-risk city, the students of SHU have just received confirmation that nothing is changing and the management would still put human life at risk than move teaching online!

@UCUHallam They have no way of knowing that! And there is no denying that if the university had listened to the wishes of staff and students and kept on campus teaching only for those who could not work online, labs, practicals etc the risk for all on campus would have been greatly reduced

Stories of the #SHUTracingSystem: A student had a practical session on 2nd a student present tested positive on 4th students in the session were advised on the 9th, that's 5 days students from that lab session should have been isolating and were not. It's not good enough!
