Bonus: The lack of transparency at the @VSB39 is exemplified by getting a heavily redacted PDR where the entire Exec Summary is blacked out! Only feeds #conspiracy! Mandate of trustees is to "preserve and enhance the public trust in public education." @janetrfraser please fix!

Take a look at my comparison between the plan as outlined in the @HamberSec PDR and to what is currently planned. Being #glassfull type, I think that we'll get at least the PDR plan. @VSB39. @bcedplan, @CityofVancouver have to account for what happened to change from the PDR plan

So what happened to the NLC space that @HamberSec was going to have? The PDR mentions #Childcare but allocates no space towards it and implies that it would be on the roof, meaning it would not take away space from #education. So big mystery as to why the NLC space is gone 🤔

A high school is a central hub for the community and the @HamberSec PDR allocated a nice amount of space for the #wellbeing of our kids and space for the community. #CommunityLINK @BCEdAccess #inclusion #EmilyCarr, #Cavell, #SimonFraser, #GeneralWolfe, #Jamieson, #Osler #bced

Quote: "The gym space absolutely must be increased. There already isn't enough for all the blocks to use the gym, and our kids are often forced outside in cold, very rainy weather as there are no other option" so even with a bit extra NLC space, Gym @HamberSec is still too small

More Library space was allocated to @HamberSec in the PDR! Still not a big enough library in my opinion as it would be about 50% smaller than the current library at Hamber. 📚 Best to ask the experts! Can any #librarians @bctla comment? #BuildHamberRight
