We all know Ruto had no political power to beat Raila Odinga but he had a different plan. Mudavadi would not be convinced if Ruto told him he will win the presidency. Everyone knew it was Raila's election to lose. Ruto shared his detailed plan with Mudavadi, how he planned to rig elections and how he will retain the victory. Its the clear and practical plan from Ruto to ascend to power that convinced Mudavadi. Azimio should have asked these questions at that time.
