@ilobasama @instablog9ja The woman said that she didn't want to judge whoever into runs, but they should never see it as an everlasting way of making money, hence, they should quit. I understand we are in Nigeria where a thief that has not been caught calls the caught one a thief.

@HammedTaliat @instablog9ja Maybe you are the one that doesn't understand. When you endorse something you have supported it even if the time frame is very short. " do it but don't stay there " = support " doing runs or not is her choice, i don't care" = indifference

If You Have To Be A “Runs Girl” To Make A Living, Do It But Don’t Stay There — Actress Shaffy Bello Actress Shaffy Bello has shared candid thoughts on survival, self-worth and personal growth while speaking during an interview on Morayo’s show. The actress advised young women not to feel pressured into exposing their bodies or seeking online validation just to gain attention or become successful. “The seeds that you sow matter. You don’t have to show your bo%bs to be sexy, and you don’t have to shake your b¥mb¥m to go viral,” she said. Shaffy Bello also addressed the harsh economic realities many young women face, noting that while she does not judge anyone trying to survive, people should work towards improving their situation and avoid remaining in unhealthy lifestyles permanently. “If what you are doing now is being a r¥ns girl to make money, you don’t have to stay there. I understand it, I never judge,” she stated. According to the actress, survival may sometimes push people into difficult choices, especially when trying to support family members or pay bills, but she stressed the importance of striving for something better. “If that’s what you have to do right now to make a living, feed your mum or send your siblings to school, fine, but don’t stay there,” she added.

Dear Ogbeni, Thank you for this video. I sympathise with your condition; however, in any economy, Nigeria inclusive, you are paid according to the value of your work, not the number of children you have. It is worthy of sympathy and empathy that you earn so little, yet have such a large family. However, you do bear some personal responsibility for this. Maybe you should have cut your coat according to your cloth and tailored your family size to fit your salary. President Bola Tinubu has done his bit by increasing the Minimum Wage by 130% from ₦30,000 to ₦70,000. The President is not responsible for you having six children. That is your personal responsibility and choice. As for fixing this country, please consider that the President has expanded our GDP by $67 billion, rising from ₦269.29 trillion on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today. And we have enjoyed twelve cycles of not only GDP growth but also trade surpluses. This year, the World Bank projects a 4.4% growth rate for Nigeria. That is why the International Monetary Fund listed Nigeria among the 10 fastest-growing economies on Earth just two days ago and also cited Nigeria as the 6th-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025. And to further democratise opportunity, the President introduced student loans to enable close to a million indigent Nigerian youths to afford tertiary education. He also ensured that university lecturers are better paid, hence our country has avoided ASUU strikes under this President. My counsel to you would be to learn from China and India. Both countries did not fix their economies until they first introduced family planning strategies to address their then meteoric and seismic population growth rates. Thanks again, and may God bless you. Reno Omokri Ambassador Designate to Mexico. Gospeller. @renoomokri This man is overwhelmed with macroeconomics growth. That doesn't translate to anything in developing countries like Nigeria. The moment people are not seeing surplus food, security, good healthcare, infrastructure, improved education, high employment rate et al, you are a failure

What Exactly Is Femi Otedola's Crime? It was impossible not to see the backlash from some Nigerians to Mr Femi Otedola's short holiday video, which trended on social media today. One would have thought that Mr Otedola was spending public money on his vacation. But no! The man is spending very private funds. Femi Otedola is not the reason Nigeria has challenges, and it is an intellectually lazy thought process to attack him for enjoying a leisurely bike ride in Singapore. People like Mr Otedola are the solution to our challenges, not the cause of any alleged system failures in Nigeria. To the best of my knowledge, he played little or no role in the last election. And even if he did, what is wrong with that? But he didn't! Otedola starts companies with capital largely sourced from outside Nigeria, grows those firms, employs tens of thousands of Nigerian citizens, and provides economic relief to millions by supplying goods and services that would have otherwise been imported. That is now a bad thing? Do you know how difficult it is to invest in the Nigerian power sector? He did it. I really don't get the angst directed at him! He is not corrupt. He has exposed public corruption in the past (Farouk and his dollars). Neither is he a politician nor a government official. He is a private citizen who has committed more than $50 million of his own funds to corporate social responsibility and charitable activities outside his geopolitical zone, especially in the Northeast. He has built university hostels, hospitals, and shelters for IDPs. Someone like him should be receiving the highest national honours, rather than being subjected to irrational horror! What exactly is his crime? Too many Nigerians are angry and do not know where to direct their anger. As bad as some of us think our government is, governance is not the cause of our major problems. I will give an example. Last year, our economy grew by 3.9%, which is good. It was one of the fastest economic growth rates on the planet, and the World Bank projects a 4.4% GDP growth for Nigeria in 2026, while the IMF listed Nigeria as the sixth-largest contributor to global GDP growth in 2025, a fact celebrated by Elon Musk, the world's richest man. But the issue here is that our population growth, especially in one or two regions, is almost 4%. Even if you have the best and least corrupt government on Earth, as long as the population growth of parts of Nigeria continues to outpace GDP growth, there will be social and economic pressure in those regions. This is an economic fact! Our country needs benevolent industrialists like Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote. Attacking and demoralising them helps nobody. If you are unemployed or underemployed and cannot feed your six children, Femi Otedola probably is not the reason for your suffering. Neither is the Federal Government. You might want to take some personal responsibility for putting the cart before the horse and building your family before you have a steady, reliable salary or source of income. In the last two years, our GDP has expanded by $67 billion, rising from ₦269.29 trillion on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today. Nigeria has had an unprecedented twelve cycles of GDP growth and trade surpluses. It has never happened before. We have moved from being the largest importer of fuel in Africa to the number one exporter in West Africa. But this growth will only benefit you if you have a productive mindset. But if you want to sit down and expect President Tinubu to build your toilet for you and flush it when you finish your business, you will continue to suffer while the larger economy grows. @renoomokri I believed in this before until I stopped becos I noticed sth. Money is jst meant to be spent. And there is always one thing we spend money on. Those not spending on phones, may be sth else. Nobody will have money without having the urge to spend it. Let's just spend judiciously.

Emulate how the wealthy invest, not how they spend and your finances will eventually be healthy. Have you ever seen Dangite with an iPhone? If in doubt, please zoom in on the phone he is holding. Yet he is worth $30 billion. You don't have even $300 in your account, but you have an iPhone. Stop going broke trying to look rich. It is better to look poor while investing to be rich. The reason you are poor is because you use your salary to buy liabilities, while the rich use their profits to purchase assets. When you use your salary to buy expensive things because you want to live like the big boys who used profits to buy theirs, what you are actually buying is poverty. Invest like the rich so you can reach their pitch! #RenosNuggets

A Practical Guide To Success In Thirty Months Give yourself thirty months to become the person you have always wanted to be. Start by reinventing yourself by restructuring your thinking process. Time is your most valuable asset. Relationships follow it. And then money. If you can master these resources, you will have no masters! Let's start with time. Please do not waste it. You can progress if you let people waste your money, because you can always make more. But it is almost impossible to get ahead if you let others waste your time. Why? Because you cannot make more time. Once it is gone, it is gone. So anyone who wastes your time must be a goner. Mark and identify people who waste your time and unapologetically avoid them. When you honour time, time will make sure that you are honoured with enough time! Then move on to money discipline. Start by not eating out at restaurants or ordering food via apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash, or Deliveroo for a year. Instead, cook all your meals at home. You really don't even need that much food. Since you are an adult who is no longer growing, don't buy any new clothes for a year. Wash and reuse your old clothes. Cut out beer, wine, Coca-Cola, and other drinks, and just drink tap water for the next two and a half years. If that is boring, buy oranges and lemons and juice them. Not only will that be good for your health, but it will also be good for your wallet. Eliminate smoking, clubbing, and partying. Cancel your Netflix subscription and read books instead. Manage your old phone, and don't upgrade it. Then, invest 50% of the money you have saved in the VOO, VFIAX, SPY, QQQ, VWO, SCHD, or any other well-regarded ETF. Invest 25% in a combination of Bitcoin, Chainlink, and Bitcoin Cash. Finally, invest the remaining 25% in stocks of the Magnificent Seven companies minus Tesla (Alphabet (Google)), NVIDIA, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple. Don't worry if they go down on some days. It is immature and unrealistic to expect that your investments will always appreciate. The truth is, you will not make money overnight, but you can and will definitely make it over time. That is why I said give yourself thirty months. After you do this, become a ghost for another year while your investments percolate. Go to work and return home to read and work out. You will be building your mind and body. And then, on Friday, go to the mosque for Salatul-Jumu'ah if you are a Muslim and return home. If you are a Christian, go to your regular service and return home. Then, you pray every morning and night. Your religion is not as important as your devotion to God. And the best way to show dedication to your Maker is to treat others as you would like to be treated, irrespective of their religion, race, or ethnicity. If you can sacrifice two years of your life for this discipline, which is approximately 2.5% of your life, I can almost guarantee you that you will live the rest of your life as the best of your life. You will conquer poverty with your investments. You will conquer sickness and counter the effects of ageing through your daily workouts. And your mind will stay sharp as a razor through your regular reading. And finally, you will draw closer to God. These are practical steps to success that anybody can take to achieve results. Because if you want what you have never gotten, you must also do what you have never done. If you like, scoff and insult. If God spares all our lives for the next two years, you will likely be in the same financial, mental, physical, and spiritual situation that you are in today. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Twenty-One Economic Miracles Currently Happening Under President Tinubu One: Our foreign reserves have crossed the $45 billion mark for the first time in six years. It is now the fourth-highest on the African continent. Two: The prudent management of our foreign reserves under President Tinubu has led to a 3.93% GDP growth in the immediate past quarter and 4.23% growth in the quarter before that (Q2, 2025).  Three: Nigeria, under President Tinubu, has, within two years, moved from being Africa's biggest petrol importer to becoming West Africa's largest exporter of the same product. Four: For the first time in over a decade, Nigeria has overshot its OPEC quota for three consecutive months and is set to do the same for the fourth month, producing an average of 1.71 million barrels per day. Five: President Tinubu gave Nigerian airlines direct flights to London's Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom, London's Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, São Paulo, Brazil, Bogotá, Colombia, Entebbe, Uganda, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Algiers, Algeria, and St. Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean. Six: Oil theft has been reduced to less than 10,000 barrels per day, a sixteen-year low. Seven: Nigeria achieved its revenue target for the entire year in August, a first in our history. Eight: The Nigerian Stock Exchange rose above 130,000 All Share Index for the first time ever. Nine: Our economy expanded by $67 billion in just two years, moving Nigeria's GDP from a ₦269.29 trillion economy on May 29, 2023, when Asiwaju became President, to ₦372.8 trillion today. Ten: Between January and August 2025, non-oil tax revenue was ₦20.59 trillion, a 40.5% increase from the ₦14.6 trillion recorded in the corresponding period in 2024. Eleven: MTN Nigeria Limited hit a record valuation of ₦10 trillion, the first Nigerian company to do so. Twelve: Food prices have fallen significantly, resulting in a drop in inflation to 16.05% at present, down from 20.12% in August 2025, a 1.76% decline from July's 21.88%. Thirteen: Dangote and other retailers have crashed fuel prices below ₦1000. Fourteen: The Naira has stabilised and is now below ₦1500 to $, making it among the world's best-performing currencies, according to Fitch Ratings. Fifteen: Nigeria broke its power generation record with a peak generation of 5,801.84MW and maximum daily energyoutput of 128,370.75 megawatt-hours (MWh), the highest ever attained in the history of the electricity industry in Nigeria. Sixteen: After a record trade surplus last year, Nigeria appears set to beat its 2024 figure. Our trade surplus rose 44.3% in Q2 to ₦7.46 trillion, up from ₦5.17 trillion in Q1. Seventeen: In a sign of an improving economy, the Central Bank of Nigeria reduced interest rates by 50 basis points to 27%, the first time since the #COVID19 pandemic. Eighteen: Fitch and S&P Global Ratings upgraded Nigeria's economy to a Stable B. Nineteen: Two PhDs in economics, in the persons of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation, and the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, and incumbent Governor of Anambra, Dr Chukwuma Soludo, both confirmed that President Tinubu has "stabilised the economy". Twenty: Rail transport expanded in Nigeria by 43.08% in Q2 2025. Twenty-one: Road transport expanded by 24.50% in Q2 2025, driven by the ₦13 trillion 1,068-kilometre Illela-Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway, and the ₦15 trillion 750-kilometre Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, currently under construction. Bonus: Student loans were awarded to an unprecedented 500,000 students, with hundreds of thousands more awaiting their loans. Effective rebranding projects a positive image of what is happening. It is the best way to neutralise enemies of the nation who want to overwhelm the airwaves with negative information. If you are a patriot who loves Nigeria and wants your country to progress, please spread this truthful message. Reno Omokri
