We are in the Eurostar lounge in the Gare du Nord, having struggled our way through all the border and security checks. Meanwhile, passengers to the rest of Europe just get on their trains perfectly normally. The British give the impression of being a frightened and servile little people willing to surrender their freedom and to allow themselves to be herded like animals at the border. @RichardBentall Some airports are just shit. In the UK we have e-gates which can be used for a number of different country’s citizens, making the process easy. This is the same in many other airports. It’s not really a Brexit thing, more a shit airport thing.
