Today is my 32nd birthday. Over the last month, I asked several 90-year-olds what advice they would give to their 32-year-old selves. Here's the life advice everyone needs to hear:

@Medic_Russell I think so many of us feel the same, we do love our job, it’s a privilege, but it’s getting so so hard to keep going. And we don’t know if we can keep going... The life & soul of the job has been sucked out of us...

It sounds awful but I’m genuinely feeling myself becoming resentful of everyone who got to do the job I love before it fell apart. It’s the only thing I’m alright at and when I enjoy it I really really really love it. I just wish I could still. But it’s so hard.

The way I’ve made it to Tuesday lunch time of the working week and am fighting the urge to start crying at work. Again. And everyone else looks exactly the same. I actually don’t know anyone at work who isn’t burned out and exhausted already? And it’s the 6th December???

Welcome to the world Olanna, Ozinna and Kenenna born last week. These beautiful babies are the first triplets at The Royal Oldham Hospital to be cared for by our Transitional Care Team on the Postnatal Ward and not have to be admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Nothing quite ruins a weekend like messing up your rota and forgetting you were on call. Cancelled plans I was excited for, and starting the day late will no doubt mean anxiety ("Have I pissed off the on call team?")
