@buchananross1 @sudibiff @ChantelleBakerr To be fair, there is a thread of truth in their claims, but only a thread, which they chose to take completely out of proportion, losing sight of the greater good, aspect of the inevitable risk/benefit analysis governments use when making their decisions .

Funny how I can misspeak during a livestream and say Māori wards instead of the Māori health authority and be blasted everywhere but yet people have been injected with a substance 4 times that can stop their heart and everyone is silent.

@HampsonBrain She's been the subject of a huge wave of mocking (and worse). Worth noting her comments too that on balance she's had more love and support than vilification.

There are many reasons to criticise and dislike Luxon. But it's a bit shabby to see so many comments on his appearance.

At times like this, we need Celia Lashlie. Her’s was an intelligent, experienced, knowledgeable voice of reason that more than countered the the populist, emotive dog whistling of Seymour, Hosking, Woodham, Mitchell etc. She was an enormous loss. @NewstalkZB @MarkMitchellMP

@nz_erewego @Soul_of_a_Sage That’s because we delayed it entering until the maximum vaccinations were issued. Some people are slow

@Soul_of_a_Sage You do understand most other countries are past their Omicron wave peak right, while we're not there yet? "Most OECD countries are ahead of New Zealand in terms of their Omicron outbreaks and their death rates were dropping as New Zealand's peaked."

So we spent two years annihilating our tourism, our businesses, our lives tipped upside down, our health crisis, our mental health crisis, crime, worst truancy in 40 years, never so divided, just to get here anyway.

Tomorrow we will commemorate the sacrifices of kiwis who fought & died for the dream of freedom. That freedom has many aspects, one is the right to disagree & still be respected. Yet tens of thousands of kiwis are denied the right to work because of their views on mandates.

@antihobbes Only those who do not care about the “bottom feeders”, would find merit in his tax proposal.

I spent a sunny Sunday morning at the Clevedon Village Farmers Market. I had such a great time chatting to these folks! The one thing that kept coming up was the cost of living crisis. It’s time we adjusted the tax brackets for inflation and let Kiwis keep more of what they earn

@Notonmy29040112 Are you sure? Really sure? The airforce flights are very uncomfortable - certainly not a luxury ride. Re not wanting to go out in public, she is spotted all over the place, doing regular things, like the rest of us.

@nealejones Can you please explain why we need a complete seperate authority to serve one of our many ethnicities? Genuine question - I would hope one authority could adapt to serve all.

Aotearoa was united in our battle against covid & on many other issues BEFORE #LyinLuxon became the leader of the National Party. Now he wants to divide the country between beneficiaries, who he calls "bottom feeders" & "those who are aspirational & confident" #LuxonResign

@Janeisacowgirl @rugbyintel @chrisluxonmp I object to the term being applied to any section of society, but especially to those over 65 who averagely know how to work hard and do without …. It was breed into us.
