@ckparrot Normally I'd agree but this time around I would have pushed everything into 2026 because I expect the entire season to serve as nothing more than training camp for 2027.

This. But I wouldn’t hold my breath on the free agent end of things next off season. Think these guys have religion. Part of why I’ve been telling people to cool it on the idea that EVERYTHING has to be expensed in 2026. Some stuff can and has been pushed to 2027 and it’s ok.

Dolphins have NFL's 3rd most cap space for 2027, at $148 M.Even though signing 2 draft classes and potentially re-signing/extending Achane,Brooks,Brewer will consume a chunk of that,there will still be a LOT left to selectively target free agents&construct a sustainable roster.
