@allholls Actually never had this experience. Sure my kids may have been skeptical of something I have put on, Labyrinth, for example, but by the time “Dance, Magic Dance” comes on, they’re into it. Watched Princess Bride a couple of months back, and they’re still quoting it.

Me: I have the perfect movie we can watch tonight. 15yo: *walking into room* It's not another movie from your childhood that you think was great but is really terrible, is it? Me: *quickly backs out of the movie* Uh, no.

@fourcornersfld In church, a physical Bible. When studying/devotion, I use an app, primarily because I like to read multiple versions for the specific verse(s) I’m studying.

I use Bible apps for convenience, especially for looking up a particular verse. But nothing replaces a physical Bible. The weight. The pages. Something about holding a real Bible forces you to slow down and really be present. Do you read from an app, or a real Bible?

@bestofstarwar I don’t think the lightsaber fights were what people didn’t like in the prequels. Some of the dialog was bad (looking at you “I don’t like sand”) and Anakin seemed a bit whiny at times. But the fights were always loved from my experience.
