@HMRCcustomers Thanks Rob. That's part of the issue. I've logged in using my gateway number, changed my password, used my new access code and when I follow those steps I am told that my identity cannot be confirmed. I have to call which I've tried without success. So I can't do this online.

@Handyall The customer support account my colleague referred to is this support account on Twitter. We can only give general advice on here. Can you verify your identity online for a Government Gateway ID? Rob

How does one contact @HMRCgovuk when the website won't verify my details, webchat is always down and no-ones answers the 'phone. There are only so many conversations I can have with an automated voice machine n an hour, hear the same recorded apology before I lose the will.
