Absolutely! Children can make strong connections through quailty literature as well as develop deep undertsandings on these challenging topics!

Quality literature can spark imagination and assist Ss to reflect on what they can as global citizens to help achieve the sustainable development goal of #NoHunger! These texts not only provide the opportunity for quality discussion but also cross curriculum links. #educ4750

Definitely!! It's such a flexible learning activity that can be altered to suit multiple SDG's like #SDG3 and #SDG12 not just #SDG2

@HannahTiedeman I just had a look at this book and there is actually 4 that talk about different world issues and they sit together nicely. These look like a great way to introduce some of the vocabulary of #sdg2 to students. #UoNteach

This is such a beautiful picture book that explores what poverty and hunger are and how they affect children all over the world. This would really get students thinking about what they could do to help stop big issues like these. #UoNTeach #educ4750 #SDG2

OzHarvest is an incredible community asset! They have been providing food rescue to the community since 2011! They deliver around 14,000 meals every month to people in need throughout their community! This is a perfect way to help achieve #zerohunger! #educ4750 #UoNTeach
