What is authenticity? Authenticity is the ability to be oneself in other words not a persona. I find to be authentic is difficult online as so many people are watching. For example talking about a romance book on a professional styled account doesn't look great.#makingsocialmedia

How to be effective on Twitter #makingsocialmedia

An online community I am apart of is #booktok. This communities common interest is books and is on the platform of TikTok. The community provides snippets of new books and people can offer similar books or the name of a book snippet if that hasn’t been given. #makingsocialmedia

@emmagarlick22 The projects we are creating in this course for #sdg2 would definitely help these families. I know my project is on creating a community garden and I’ve seen a couple of other students do the same. I hope that these units actually make it into schools to change these stats.

Strategies such as community gardens and food drives can help support families dealing with food insecurity. With households with children more likely to be affected, utilising schools to educate and assist families is an ideal approach. #SDG2 #UoNTeach #educ4750

My year 6 students are drawing their favourite meal ensuring to add or take out any foods to make it more nutritious and healthy! They will then compare their meal to this image and will discuss the difference! I hope this spreads awareness to achieving #SDG2! #educ4750 #UoNTeach

@Miss_McDonald23 Thank you for sharing this! I thought a worm garden would be a great way to recycle food wastage to create compost to grow new food. This website looks great for educating students about it.

The Worm Shed is a resource which helps to teach students how to create and look after their own worm farms, they also integrate within the curriculum and then also hold workshops for parents to get involved too. Love this Idea. #UoNteach #SDG2 #EDUC4750 wormshed.com.au

@MKnight826 @Hollie_Segalla Agree this sounds like a great service learning opportunity. I’m just wondering if schools in low ses areas could fundraise to make these and then take them home to their own families.

@Hollie_Segalla That’s a great initiative Hollie. Perhaps students could undergo service learning and help out these packs together?

#Hunger is a global issue. If we can support out local communities through projects like this then we can shed light on the issue of hunger and educate the community on things we can do to help to work towards #ZeroHunger. #UoNTeach #educ4750 #sdg2

@Hollie_Segalla @coolaustralia Wow, I don’t know much about bees at all! Something bill definitely have to look into. I love your idea of looking at the #sdg2 from multiple angles. I’ve been looking at food production and food waste I never even thought of bees.

What a great way for students to have some fun playing an educational game that also helps the purpose of the unit I am creating in #educ4750 looking at ending world hunger for #sdg2. #UoNTeach

While it may be a bit expensive to start in a school, hydroponics are something students can learn about when looking at helping to produce more food for everyone. #educ4750 #sdg2 #UoNTeach

Crunch & Sip programs have taken schools by storm! However, its important to remember that not all students will have access to fruit & veg at home. Providing access to fruits for students to eat during Crunch & Sip helps level the playing field and move towards #NoHunger. #SDG2

@emmagarlick22 Scary isn’t it, I’ve noticed at the shops the increase of prices. Community or school gardens are a great way to get fresh, healthy fruit and veg on the dinner table!
