
Agree. He may be on par with Dr Rassie regarding 2 WC's (2027 pending...), but that is where it ends. He inherited the best AB side from Sir Graeme Henry (McCaw, Carter, Sonny Bill, Nonu, etc). He did not have to rebuild, inspire, motivate, innovate, etc. He was a passenger on the powerful AB express. In contrast, Dr. Rassie inherited possibly the worst Springbok team ever (courtesy of Alistair Coetzee) in 2018. He had to rebuild, innovate, motivate, inspire, etc, and had to do so with less than a year to the 2019 WC. The rest is history, but let us not forget that Steve Hansen is not in the same coaching circle in terms of ability like Dr Rassie. So, therefore, him stating the obvious that the Springboks are beatable is on par with the petrol attendant saying so.
