Parts of it already are, but no, it'll never fully collapse. That isn't how it works; that's a myth. School is timeless, like fiction. My community college did shut down, though, but only because they were offering tuition for free. A university took me in through a teach-out program, so now I'm doing my associate's at a university, and I just made my first payment ever. My cousin's college also shut down on her, but I never asked her or my aunt why.

No, they did not. My logic was never that the anime and games are the same continuity, though I could've made that more clear. I was using the manga as fanon, the next best thing we have for what Calem has been up to since the games don’t show it (Masters too). Ash existing in the anime doesn’t change that.
