Great news at start of 2025 - deforestation in Amazon is halved. Norway 🇳🇴 worked closely with Brazil 🇧🇷 during Lulas first administration. It was wonderful to see our efforts bearing fruits. Brazil brought deforestation drastically down through the right policies. With the change of government in Brazil destruction of the forest started to tick upwards again. But now Lula is back and its visible in the Amazon. 🤩 The beautiful rain forest, so critical for the planet, is again protected! Deforestation is halved! Bravo! lnkd.in/dtbd7PyM
