@ecvafc 1950-51 programme. This is for a reserve team game in Island League div. 1 v the 76th Heavy Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery (they were based at Albany Barracks. Parkhurst). The oldest ECV prog in our possession. Anyone have an older one?

Bishops Waltham town fc,an ex Hampshire league club. I believe bishops Waltham dynamos play miles away now in romsey. @HantsProgs @AndrewRocklob @SaintsProgs

This leaves me speechless. 126 years old! Wow!

@HantsProgs is this gem from Ryde the oldest Hants league programme? Ryde v Andover from 1897-98 is a large 4 pager where the best part is always the fabulous adverts. Southampton also issued this season as well, but they were in the Southern league then.
English

@52SteveJ Oh wow! That is just incredible, Steve. By far the oldest Hants League prog I have seen. Thanks for sharing.

1956/57 @alton_fc v Ville in the Russell-Cotes Cup. Alton were top of Hants Lge 1 and in the last 32 of the FA Amateur Cup. Ville were near the foot of Hants Lge 2. Home side won 8-1, partly due to Peter Faulkner slipping in the mud, it would appear. @NonLgeProgs

If you find yourself with some Christmas money to spend next week and you enjoy a good read, we can recommend this. A lot about Waterlooville FC, but other Hants NL clubs too (and Pompey and Saints!) bit.ly/ville-gor
English

IBM Portsmouth played in the FA Sunday Cup in the early 80s. This prog is from 1983-84. @NonLgeProgs

English

Hants v Somerset, 1985-86. Some names here, from @ecvafc, @AFCTotton, @EastleighFC, Sholing Sports and others. @NonLgeProgs

English

@WinchFans @StagsVoice @rchivesfootball @MarkFrake1 @NonLgeProgs @wincityfc @Rob_WCFC Well, Sutton did have a full international at centre-forward!
English

@StagsVoice @rchivesfootball @MarkFrake1 @NonLgeProgs @HantsProgs @wincityfc @Rob_WCFC We don't talk about the replay 🤐
English

This beauty from 1949-50 has just arrived and is now the second-oldest @wincityfc prog in our collection (oldest being 1948-49)! Anyone got an older one? @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC

English

@MarkFrake1 @wincityfc @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC Thanks so much for sharing! Fascinating in so many ways. City right-half Jack Barter went on to become Hants FA President for many years.
English

@SaintsProgs, this may be of interest. Excerpt from report of @SouthamptonFC's annual meeting in July 1938. By my calculations, the programme made a profit of about 1/2d per copy sold in its first season!

English

@90MinutesMore @NonLgeProgs @pompeyjones92 Yes, Chestnut Ave was home of Pirelli General FC after they moved from Dew Lane in the 60s until the 90s.
English

Another couple of programmes added to my Hampshire league collection. This time ordnance survey v queens keep and Durley v nursling from 97/98 and 2003 respectively. @NonLgeProgs @HantsProgs

English

@JulianBarker111 @wincityfc @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC You're absolutely right! I had spotted that but then forgot it by the time I posted this! It's 1951.
English

@HantsProgs @wincityfc @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC Actually 1950-51, a classic forgot to amend the year
6th Jan was a Saturday in 1951 (see notes)
English

@MarkFrake1 @wincityfc @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC Would love to see a scan of this if you'd be able to dig it out!
English

@HantsProgs @wincityfc @NonLgeProgs @Rob_WCFC Think I have a mid 1930s v Sutton. It's a one sided team sheet. Finished 4 4, Sutton won the replay, 9 0.
English

@pompeyjones92 @locksheathfc @SwayClub Yes, Locks Heath used a variety of styles through the 80s and 90s. This one, for example, is from 90-91.

English

Got these yesterday. A couple of Hampshire league programmes from the 80’s/90’s. Did locks heath ever do more than a folded bit of paper? @NonLgeProgs @HantsProgs?
