@isslater It certainly is. Got all day tomorrow to make the journey down to Koblenz, so will be stopping off at every major town along the way, having a beer on the rhine, before moving on to the next! 😃🍻☀️

Arrived in Germany this afternoon. Took the train from Dusseldorf to Köln, met a mate for some beers & food before heading to some Kreisliga fussball. Weather is glorious. It's gonna be a good weekend. 🇩🇪⚽️🍻

Before heading back to Duss, went to find the padlock me & my wife placed 8 years ago. Put it up with her hoping it would be an incentive to get her to come to Germany with me. No of visits since... Me, 15+, her... 0!! 😄 Then found a kiosk open b4 the easy 27 min train back. 🇩🇪

Thought I heard some English coming from the pitch so went and spoke to him after the game & turns out he's from Oxford! Certainly didn't expect to see another Englander at the lowest level of football there is in Germany! 🤣

Raderthal Kickers Köln II 1-7 JSV Köln 96 III Kreisliga D Ascheplatz! 😍 Free entry, no refreshments, brought beers in from the kiosk down the road. Most 1 sided match you'll ever see. Swear the only time the away GK touched the ball was picking it out the net for the goal. 🇩🇪⚽️

@danny_vanV No. That's what I booked the weekend trip for, but when Aachen got knocked out, I changed my plans. Got tickets for the Rheinland pokal final instead! 😁

Any @tuskoblenz fans know what train the majority are getting to Trier Saturday? I'm travelling up from Koblenz and would be good to travel on the 'football special' with a few beers. #TuSKoblenz

An Independent Disciplinary Commission has today expelled Southampton from the Sky Bet Championship Play-Offs after the Club admitted to multiple breaches of EFL Regulations related to the unauthorised filming of other Clubs’ training. In addition, the Club has received a four-point deduction that will be applied to the 2026/27 Championship table. The effect of today’s order is that Middlesbrough are reinstated into the 2026 Play-Offs and will proceed to the Play-Off Final against Hull City. @Kyleristgeiler1 Yer I'd intended to visit there back in October, but the fixture got moved dates quite late and I had to make other plans.

@Rob_WCFC Yeah Werder pretty much covers it. As a local I can recommend Bremer SV. They play in the 4th tier and have a nice old fashioned stadium with loyal fans

SV Elversberg will be the 59th different club to play in the Bundesliga. I've got a trip to Neunkirchen next Sunday, leaving me just 2 more left to visit. Will both be on my hit list for next season. 🇩🇪⚽️
